Can you pillage a province that has already been pillaged this Age?
The rulebook says you can only pillage a province that has not been pillaged this Age; players note the upgrade exception.

No, not normally: a pillaged province is flipped and cannot be pillaged again in that Age. Players note that an upgrade or ability which allows pillaging an already pillaged province is the exception, and that is then a normal pillage with all the usual rules.
