Can all advanced faction boards be used in a two-player game?

Mostly yes. The Disciples of the Cosmic Tabernacle advanced board is not intended for two players, because its power depends on shipyards and a two-player map has only one. The designer later said trying it at two players with no other changes is fine as an unofficial experiment. Other advanced boards can be used at any player count, and with the Leaders expansion the designer says five advanced faction boards are available at two players.
