Can the Corp advance any installed card?
The rulebook covers this directly (Advancing a Card).

No. Agendas can always be advanced; any other card can be advanced only if its text says so, and that works even while it is unrezzed. Cards not installed (in HQ, R&D or Archives) can't be advanced either.
