How does a trace work, and can the Corp raise its bid again?

A trace is a single bid. The Corp openly adds credits to the trace's base strength first, then the Runner adds credits to their link, and the two are compared once. The trace succeeds only if the Corp's strength is higher than the Runner's link strength; ties go to the Runner. There is no second round of raising.
