Can the Merchant let me sell a potion another player has already blocked?
The rulebook's Merchant entry lets you block an already blocked potion.

Yes. The Merchant lets you place your cube on a potion even when a cube is already there, so in a 2-player game the second player can sell. It does not change your guarantee level; for a better result you need the Barmaid.
