What does a hedge seal protect against, and can I hedge two colors?

A hedge protects only the color on the seal. When a theory is debunked you lose nothing if the debunking aspect is your hedge color, but lose 5 reputation otherwise. At the final reveal a hedge works only if exactly one aspect of the theory is wrong and it is your color; if two or more are wrong no hedge protects. You get one seal per theory, so you hedge at most one color, and a hedge seal scores nothing at game end.
