Does the Academic count as two occupations?
Only for minor improvement prerequisites: once played, the Academic counts as two occupations there. Playing it is still a single occupation play and does not count double for effects that trigger on playing an occupation. The designer first ruled it counts double for everything, then reversed that on 2009-09-12.
