Can original first-edition cards or boards be used with the Revised Edition?

Yes — the publisher says original cards and Revised cards work together, and the Revised boards work with original cards. The catch is that older cards use different wording, symbols, card backs and older action-space names, so you must map them to the Revised names. Mismatched card backs are cosmetic.
