Is there a limit to the number of fences you can build?
The rulebook's Number of Components section states the 15-fence limit.

Yes — each player has only 15 fences, and once they are used up you cannot build more. Your five people, four stables and 15 fences are the only components that are intentionally limited; if any shared component runs out, use goods tiles or improvise. Five pastures can be fenced with 15 fences.
