Are rooms, fields or pastures on diagonal spaces adjacent?
The rulebook's Terms and Phrases defines adjacency as orthogonal only.

No — spaces are adjacent only when they share an edge (orthogonal). Rooms must touch rooms, fields touch fields, pastures touch pastures. The same holds for adjacent action spaces on the board, where diagonal does not count.
