Which animals can I cook with a Fireplace or Cooking Hearth?
The rulebook says tankard improvements turn animals and vegetables into food at any time.

Any animal on your farm — in pastures, on stabled spaces or in your house — can be turned into food at any time with a tankard improvement (Fireplace or Cooking Hearth), except during the breeding phase, when you may not cook parents or newborns. Ovens do not cook animals.
