No — every breach the spell occupies must be open or focused this turn. Valid pairs are two open breaches, one open and one focused, or two focused breaches; a spell on a focused breach must be cast next casting phase. It sits on two adjacent breaches, e.g. 1+2, 2+3 or 3+4.
