Do scripted expeditions use cards from other boxes?
Generally no. A scripted expedition uses only the content of its own box unless its text says to use another (Into the Wild and Past and Future are exceptions), while randomized expeditions use everything you own. A destroyed card is gone for the current game only; banished cards are gone for the expedition.
