What happens when an Edifice project is not completed?
A publisher account and several players agree, and the rulebook backs the Debt token rule.

A completed project rewards only participants; an incomplete one penalises only players with no participation pawn for that Age, and pawns from earlier Ages do not protect you. A sacrificed yellow card does not return gold it already earned. If you cannot pay the full penalty you lose nothing and take a Debt token instead.
